About Brigette Schwimmer

Brigette Schwimmer is a passionate physical therapist dedicated to serving first responders, military personnel, and their families. A 2018 graduate of the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, she quickly discovered her calling in supporting individuals who operate in high-demand, high-risk environments.

During her internship at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Brigette had the unique opportunity to work alongside airmen and shadow the elite First Group, an experience that solidified her desire to specialize in treating special forces and others serving in extreme capacities.

Her early career involved close collaboration with firefighters, police officers, and veterans—experiences that deepened her commitment to those who dedicate their lives to service. Among her career highlights is her partnership with East Pierce Fire District, where she developed and implemented injury screenings, fitness programming, and rehabilitation services for firefighter recruits. She has also had the privilege of working with the families of first responders, recognizing their crucial role in supporting overall well-being. Additionally, Brigette has worked closely with Navy SEALs, Coast Guard pilots, mechanics, and rescue swimmers, broadening her expertise in high-performance care.

Brigette is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and holds certifications in Dry Needling, Blood Flow Restriction Therapy, and Management of the Fitness Athlete. She is also a Registered Yoga Instructor and plans to pursue a Fellowship in Manual Therapy, advanced exercise programming certifications, and specialized training in pregnancy and women’s health.

When she’s not helping others perform at their best, Brigette enjoys cooking, trap shooting and dirtbike riding with her boyfriend, walks with her stubborn beagle-mix pup Bumper, and curling up with a good book and a cup of tea—occasionally paired with a shot of bourbon or a craft beer.
